• Tool-Free Shift Height: Adjust shift knob height over an inch from its lowest point (lowest point equivalent to OEM height) by twisting the leather boot collar—no tools, no disassembly—tailoring the throw and shift knob height to your street or track style.

DM-2 V2 release notes:

• Reverse Lockout: The entire reverse lockout system has been consolidated into the housing of the shifter, eliminating the reverse lockout cable and creating a smaller form for the DM-2.
• Non-adjustable 5th/6th/reverse Shift Stop: No adjustment necessary for the shift stop on the passenger side of the shift pattern. Shift stop is integrated onto the u-joint, saving space, install time, and also is a more robust system with increased feedback when engaging the stop.
• 1st/2nd Shift Stop: Shift stop is easier to adjust and integrated onto the housing of the shifter saving additional space and time during install. Rigidity is also increased to give an even firmer feel when engaging the stop.
• Centering Mechanism: Ceramic coating has been added to the torsion spring and hardware, along with an updated OEM cable connection that eliminates a step in the install process by self-securing the OEM cable when it is installed.
• Compatibility with the DARKMATTERX Billet Shift Trim Kit Subaru WRX (2015-2021): A revision has been made on the DM-2 linkage which now allows compatibility for the Billet Shift Trim Kit to be used in conjunction with the DM-2 V2 Shifter.
