Centering Mechanism: The billet aluminum centering mechanism features twin detents and a firm, ceramic coated torsion spring ensuring perfect gear engagement, banishing missed shifts forever.
Shift Stop (5th & 6th): The factory shifters are not equipped with a shift stop for 5th and 6th gear. This comes standard on the DM-3 and provides the best mechanical feel when selecting 5th or 6th gear. 
Gear Stop: An "in gear" stop that engages when shifting into any gear giving the driver the most firm and engaging shifts. The Gear Stop also features a built in detent to take slop out of your shifting system created by the loose feeling of the car's shift cables.
